Plotform are committed to Health and Safety and our objective is to prevent, insofar as it is reasonable & practical to do so, during the course of the work or duties being undertaken, any accidental occurrence resulting in:
· Injury to any person
· Damage to or loss of any plant, equipment, property, materials or products
· Delays in any processes or operation
· Events that may otherwise be detrimental to efficiency and / or prestige
· Adverse impact upon the environment
To assist us, Georgia Winkle, our NEBOSH – who is general certificate qualified and a Technical Member of IOSH provides us with information and guidance in relation to Health and Safety on construction sites. She has designed and implemented a comprehensive Management System that covers all aspects of our business activities.
Plotform are also committed to ensure our erectors have the knowledge and key skills to undertake their work safely and effectively. We have developed a Training Plan to conform with the Principle Contractor Group requirements and includes:
· CSCS Cards for all Erectors and Supervisors
· NVQ Qualifications in Timber Frame
· NVQ Qualifications in Carpentry and Joinery
· NVQ Qualifications in Plant
· CPCS Slinger Signallers
· CPCS Lift Supervisors
· CPCS Appointed Persons
In addition we provide all our erectors with continuous ‘on the job’ training which is carried out by our experienced team members and Supervisors.
